It’s been a long time coming, but now it’s here. Neighborhood Housing Services Northshore has opened an office in Bogalusa in order to more conveniently serve the needs of Washington Parish residents who formerly had to travel to St. Tammany Parish for the assistance.

I went to the noon Mass today at my parish. On my way home, on a sidewalk in the middle of the city centre area, I saw an Chinese-looking couple staring at a spot near a lamppost, their expressions suggesting tears were imminent.
